Manager, People Experience

What You'll Do

  • Lead employee engagement strategies and culture initiatives across the organization
  • Design and implement DEI programs that promote inclusion and belonging
  • Develop and manage employee recognition programs to drive retention and engagement
  • Partner with leaders on engagement action planning using survey data and workforce insights
  • Oversee training and development programs, including leadership development and manager capability building
  • Support workforce planning, organizational design, and change management initiatives
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a consistent employee experience
  • Analyze exit interview data and workforce trends to identify risks and opportunities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on employee and labor relations matters
  • Lead conflict resolution and support fair, consistent HR practices
  • Partner on performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on management-level hiring and candidate experience


What You Bring

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience in employee experience, talent development, or employee relations
  • Experience partnering with leaders at multiple levels of the organization
  • Strong background in engagement, performance management, and organizational effectiveness

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or related field
  • Ability to obtain LA City Fire Card within 30 days
