Pay Range: $84,593-93,600 (Exempt)
Bonus: $10,000 sign-on
JOB SUMMARY:The Patient Services Manager provides operational and clinical leadership for HopeWest's Float Pool and After-Hours teams, ensuring staffing resources are effectively deployed to support patient care across hospice, palliative care, and other assigned service areas. This role oversees recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, competency management, performance development, and retention of float pool staff.
Working closely with clinical leaders, the Patient Services Manager ensures staffing needs are met, promotes workforce flexibility, optimizes labor resources, and supports high-quality patient outcomes. The role fosters a collaborative, accountable environment through coaching, mentoring, and professional development while upholding HopeWest's mission, values, and standards of care.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of five (4) years of clinical nursing experience in hospice, home health, hospital, palliative care, or related healthcare setting. Minimum of one (1) year of progressive leadership or management experience preferred. Experience managing staffing operations, workforce deployment, scheduling, or float pool personnel preferred.
- Licenses and Certifications: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado required. Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) certification required or must be obtained within two (2) years of employment. Valid Colorado driver's license required and reliable personal transportation with adequate automobile insurance required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:• Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships with staff, patients, families,
and community partners.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and electronic medical record (EMR)
systems.
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Maintains knowledge of organizational, state, and federal regulations related to hospice care.
• Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic healthcare environment
