Overview

The Manager, Order Management Systems for Crocs, Inc. is responsible for the product management, delivery, operational performance, and continuous improvement of Crocs' global IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS), supporting order orchestration, inventory visibility, fulfillment, and exception management across retail, eCommerce, marketplace, and potential future channels. Reporting to the Senior Director, Order Management Systems & Retail Allocation within the Global Information Technology organization, this role translates business priorities into scalable OMS solutions, partners with platform engineering and architecture to ensures platform reliability and operational excellence, and partners with internal teams, vendors, and strategic partners to drive business outcomes and support omnichannel growth.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with the Senior Director to deliver the global OMS roadmap, translating business priorities and platform objectives into clear product plans, releases, and measurable outcomes.
  • Serve as the application owner for IBM Sterling OMS, providing functional and technical guidance across order orchestration, sourcing and scheduling, inventory visibility, promising, fulfillment, cancellation, returns, and exception management.
  • Lead the delivery, deployment, and adoption of OMS enhancements that align with enterprise architecture, security, and engineering standards.
  • Manage the OMS product backlog and delivery lifecycle, including requirements, prioritization, estimation, dependency management, release planning, change control, stakeholder communication, and value realization.
  • In partnership with OMS Operation Lead, drive platform reliability and operational excellence through monitoring, incident and problem management, root-cause analysis, performance tuning, capacity planning, disaster recovery to ensure business continuity,
  • Oversee integrations between IBM Sterling OMS and integrated systems such as ERP, eCommerce, marketplace, point-of-sale, warehouse management, , payment, , fraud, tax, and data platforms, partnering closely with Architecture, Integration, Infrastructure, Security, and Data teams.
  • Collaborate and work with IBM vendor partner, systems integrators, software vendors, and consulting partners, through helping establish clear deliverables, service expectations, technical quality standards, financial accountability, and knowledge transfer plans.
  • Manage and develop a team of product, engineering, analysis, and support professionals, while fostering accountability, strong documentation, cross-training, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive technology experience supporting enterprise order management or retail industry systems, , including 3+ years leading teams, products, or complex system implementation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of distributed order management and the end-to-end order lifecycle across retail, eCommerce, marketplace, and wholesale channels, including fulfillment, cancellations, returns, and exception handling.
  • Strong demonstration of product ownership, understanding business and company requirements and priorities and translating that into actionable system plan and roadmap
  • Demonstrated experience managing agile product delivery, roadmaps and backlogs, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and coordinating cross-functional releases.
  • Proven success managing and improving critically important enterprise platforms through operational support, performance optimization vendor management, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong people-management, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to develop team members, influence technical and business partners, manage competing priorities, and drive accountability in a fast-paced global environment.

Title: Manager, Order Management Systems

Salary or Pay Range: $125,000 - $135,000

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

Your participation in this flexible schedule plays a key role in building a connected and successful team. In-office requirements vary by our work personas: Resident (5 days), Collaborator (4 days), Connector (2-3 days), Explorer (fully remote). This role has been aligned to the Collaborator persona.
