WHAT YOU'LL DO As the Manager of Order & Billing Operations, you will oversee regional teams to ensure accurate and timely order processing, invoicing, and client support. You will act as an escalation point for complex issues, collaborate with Sales and Client Success teams, and drive process improvements to enhance customer experience and revenue goals. This role requires strong leadership, operational oversight, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. You will support an ATI sales region.
WHERE YOU'LL WORK This position will work a hybrid schedule from our Leawood, KS office location preferred. Remote will be considered within the United States.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME - Build and maintain client relationships through proactive communication, resolving inquiries, and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex client and internal issues, providing timely and professional resolution.
- Partner with Sales teams to guide quoting, order setup, and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contracts.
- Oversee one regional Order & Billing teams, driving performance, coaching, and accountability to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Monitor revenue processes including invoicing, returns, and rebills, and support end-of-quarter and end-of-year close activities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Client Success, Credit, and other departments to streamline workflows and resolve issues.
- Lead process improvements by defining standards, participating in system rollouts, and ensuring team readiness for new tools and updates.
- Analyze and optimize operations using multiple systems (D365, Great Plains, Tableau) to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED - Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma and equivalent work experience required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications - Word, Outlook, D365, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with developing standard operating procedure documentation, and process change implementation
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational, writing and presentation skills
- Strong analysis, critical thinking, and evaluation abilities
- Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), accounting methods, and audit procedures preferred
- Experience utilizing and guiding the scalability/best practices of MS Great Plains, MS D365 CRM, Canvas App, or comparable CRM/CPQ tools is preferred
- Experience working with internal or external auditors preferred
- Provide continuous feedback to direct reports for accountability, maximum efficiency, and collaboration
- A desire to respond quickly, professionally, and accurately to all clients and other employees of the organization
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and matrix teams
- Proven strong leadership and supervisory skills to keep a team focused on excellent customer service

HIRING RANGEThe current full-time annualized hiring range for this role is $80,800.00-$115,500.00 and does not include discretionary bonus or sales incentives, if applicable. In accordance with applicable state laws, we are providing the expected salary range for this position. Individual compensation will be determined by various factors, including relevant experience, qualifications, current business needs and local market factors. Most regular, full-time employees are eligible to participate in an Ascend incentive bonus or sales plan.
