What is this Opportunity?
We are seeking a Manager, Operations Enablement who will be responsible for executing and managing strategic operations to support DevOps and Enterprise Architecture (EA). In this role, you will improve operations, strengthen engagement with employees, leaders and stakeholders through internal and external communications, and streamline the coordination of high impact initiatives. You will drive internal alignment, maintain visibility across key planning cycles, and enable our teams to focus on strategic delivery. A key objective of this role is to manage and enhance logistical infrastructure to drive excellence.

What Will You Do?

Business Management
  • Maintain an integrated master calendar for EA and DevOps leadership and employee sessions and activities
  • Coordinate with strategy enablement, business partners, vendors, change and project management to align on key milestone dates
  • Develop and manage work-back schedules against milestone dates, ensuring all stakeholders adhere to planned timelines
  • Influence internal awareness of DevOps & EA's programs, events, projects, initiatives with strategic significance to RBC

Town Hall & Engagement Events
  • Plan and execute town halls, learning sessions, office hours, showcases, demos, and employee engagement events
  • Manage event logistics, communications, and stakeholder engagement
  • Engage stakeholders for content to create polished presentations and create a run of play for events

Student & Early Talent Program Management
  • Own the complete the lifecycle of student co-ops and interns program including onboarding, engagement, and offboarding
  • Track impact and outstanding student work to support conversion of co-ops to full-time hiring pipeline

Performance Management
  • Manage the RBC Recognition program for the DevOps and EA teams including the Quarterly Performance Nominations, Made A Difference Awards and Success Stories which highlight key accomplishments

Operational Communications
  • Draft, edit and adapt communications (emails, announcements, blog posts, decks, etc.) for diverse audiences
  • Provide guidance on storytelling techniques and communication best practices to strengthen presentation content and impact
  • Ensure all decks have a strong narrative with strategic framing of organizational priorities
  • Manage deadlines and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials
  • Anticipate and address reputational issues with potential to negatively impact the team and RBC brand

Support Logistics & Planning
  • Secure venues (virtual and physical) and prepare event materials
  • Manage RSVPs, follow-ups, and logistics for town halls, offsites, learning sessions, and events

Visual Design & Enablement Artifacts
  • Create or coordinate slideware, signage, agendas, and visuals that reinforce messaging and EA/DevOps team brand for presentations and events
  • Maintain visual consistency and design excellence across all communications


What Must You Need to Succeed?

Must Have
  • 5 - 7 years of communications, strategy, business management or operations experience
  • Demonstrated project coordination and event management experience
  • Proficiency with calendar management, project planning, and collaboration tools
  • Tailoring content to varied audiences
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events and stakeholders simultaneously


Nice to Have
  • Experience in technology or financial services environments
  • Strong collaboration and relationship building skills
  • Client focus experience
  • Graphic design or visual communication skills
