Description

The Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems at Pace University is seeking a highly motivated, strategic, and organized professional to serve as the Manager of Strategic Partnerships & Operations. This position plays a critical role in advancing the School's strategic priorities through the development and management of high-impact programs, major events, key partnerships, and executive operations.

Reporting directly to the Dean, the Manager will ensure the successful execution of initiatives that support student recruitment, academic excellence, community engagement, institutional reputation, and revenue generation.

This position is based on the New York City campus, with travel to Pleasantville as needed. Evening and weekend hours may be needed throughout the year to support programs and events.

Position Duties
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the Dean, helping prioritize initiatives and maximize organizational effectiveness.
  • Manage the Dean's calendar, scheduling, communications, and meeting preparation.
  • Coordinate and facilitate leadership meetings, strategic planning sessions, and special projects.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, briefing materials, and executive communications.
  • Correspond on behalf of the Dean on routine scheduling and administrative matters, and ensure timely follow-up on key initiatives.
  • Monitor progress on strategic priorities and provide regular updates to school leadership.
  • Assist the Dean to build and maintain relationships with corporate, nonprofit, academic, and community partners.
  • Assist the Dean and school academic leadership to establish systems, processes, and performance metrics to track program effectiveness, and use resulting outcomes, participant feedback, and KPIs to inform decision-making.
  • Work with the Dean and school academic leadership to plan, implement, and assess strategic programs throughout their lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, Development, Marketing, Enrollment, and other university partners to advance strategic initiatives.
  • Lead planning and execution of major school events, including commencement activities, conferences, awards ceremonies, hackathons, fundraisers, advisory board meetings, and other signature programs.
  • Serve as project manager and primary point of contact for large-scale initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Coordinate logistics, communications, budgeting, vendor relationships, and post-event assessment.
  • Performs other such duties as may be assigned from time to time.


Work Hours

Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with additional hours as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in program management, project management, operations, executive support, higher education administration, event management, chief of staff, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail, particularly with regard to scheduling, task prioritization, event planning, and project management.
  • Experience developing reports, presentations, and executive-level communications.
  • Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration across teams.
  • Strategic thinker who can connect day-to-day operations with long-term organizational goals.
  • Exceptional project manager who thrives on moving complex initiatives from idea to execution.
  • Comfortable influencing and coordinating stakeholders at all levels without direct authority.
