Job Description

Seeking a full-time Manager of Partner Recruitment and Strategic Sourcing. Applicants based in Philadelphia, Chicago or Washington, D.C., will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Strategic Expansion Team to execute the firm's lateral partner recruiting strategy and assist in sourcing and recruiting top legal talent.
  • Build strategic relationships with search firms nationally to advance the firm's recruiting strategies, ensuring consistent messaging regarding the firm and its recruiting needs.
  • Project manage the firm's proactive search activity and drive the development and delivery of related research materials to support these initiatives.
  • Create candidate target lists and work with practice group leaders/working groups to source and recruit candidates.
  • Maintain market intelligence on competitive lateral activity, market trends, and other dynamics across relevant markets.
  • Serve as a liaison between the recruiting and marketing teams to enhance recruiting collateral and candidate-facing materials, attract prospects, and educate recruiters and the external market.
  • Work with the Strategic Expansion Team on partner-level hiring efforts.
  • Research and evaluate introduced candidates and, in collaboration with the Strategic Expansion Team, determine the appropriate initial screening process.
  • Coordinate meetings with partner-level candidates and assist in identifying the firm partners who are the best fit to meet with lateral candidates.
  • Coordinate candidate due diligence processes for partner-level candidates.
  • Assist with oversight of the lifecycle of each partner-level candidate's recruitment process.
  • Travel as required for recruiter engagement in the firm's various markets and as needed for candidates or other recruiting-related events.
  • Manage special projects and perform other work-related duties as assigned.
  • Attend firm lateral events and certain practice group events.


Qualifications

  • A minimum of five years of recruitment experience. A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. A J.D. is preferred.
  • Proven track record in legal recruitment.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to develop recruitment strategies aligned with the firm's strategic plan.
  • Strong understanding of the legal market.
  • Ability to work independently, quickly learn new subject matter, and adapt to new business environments.

The salary range for this role is $145,000 - $180,000 and represents the Firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications and location.
