Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs our Operations Manager, you will be a vital contributor to the financial health and seamless operations of our healthcare establishment.
Every day you will manage a wide range of administrative and operational tasks, including optimizing workflows, coordinating resources, and supporting strategic initiatives. You'll ensure accurate record-keeping, provide excellent support to internal stakeholders, and collaborate with various departments to maintain efficient processes, all while upholding confidentiality and compliance.
To be successful in this role, you will combine strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and a process-focused approach, directly impacting our operational efficiency and service quality.
- Schedules nursing staff to specific shifts, taking into account past utilization trends. Measures employee performance. Assists in the training of new staff members and the development of existing staff members.
- Coordinates the activities of the unit during a particular shift and directs, organizes, and assigns work to the nursing staff.
- Assesses, monitors, and educates the nursing staff on patient care. Institutes emergency procedures as necessary.
- Provides nursing care to patients on an as needed basis.
Job RequirementsRequired- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent education and experience. Magnet Hospital: BSN required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience and one (1) year of leadership experience.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
