Job Summary and QualificationsJob Summary:The Manager of Med Surg is responsible for day to day provision of care rendered to patients in the department, assists with oversight of daily operations, manages all staff members in the department and works closely with medical staff members. Maintains an active role in community education and serves as a resource to the Department.
What qualifications you will need:- Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma from an accredited institution required.
- Current FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held in another state, active FL RN compact license required within 90 days of hire.
- Advanced Nurse Practitioner license acceptable
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification required within 30 days.
