As a Nurse Manager, you will lead daily department operations while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and clinical excellence.
Nurse Manager Job Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and oversight for the daily operations of the Emergency Department
- Delegate responsibilities and provide guidance to nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and daily workflow to maintain appropriate coverage and operational efficiency
- Conduct staff coaching, performance evaluations, and professional development activities
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and departmental operations
- Monitor quality, patient safety, and operational performance metrics while implementing continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide direct patient care as needed to support departmental operations and patient flow
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and evidence-based practice
Nurse Manager Experience:- 3-5 years Nursing Supervisory Experience (required)
- Emergency Department experience (preferred)
- Leadership or management experience (preferred)
- Hospital experience (required)
Nurse Manager Education & Credential Requirements:- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (required)
- Licensed Registered Nurse (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (required)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (preferred)
