Silent-Aire USA, Inc. seeks Manager of Lean and Continuous Improvement at its facility located at 280 E Germann Road, Building #280, Gilbert, AZ, 85297.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives across manufacturing operations using Lean principles and Johnson Controls Growth System (JCGS) (15%). Drive Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and structured problem-solving to eliminate waste and improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost (10%). Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS teams to implement process improvements and standard work (15%). Develop and maintain visual management systems (daily management boards, KPIs, tiered accountability) to ensure operational transparency (10%). Oversee MES/SAP alignment, ensuring accurate routings, BOMs, and work instructions for production processes (5%). Facilitate workshops, prepare charters, define objectives, track actions, and report progress to leadership (10%). Create dashboards and reports using Power BI and other analytics tools to monitor performance and sustain improvements (10%). Coach supervisors and frontline teams on Lean tools, problem-solving, and continuous improvement culture (25%). Will supervise two (2) direct reports - Process Improvement Specialists. Travel: Up to 20% domestic travel to other company facilities or customer sites for workshops and CI projects. Telecommuting: Occasional remote work may be permitted.

REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Plus five (5) years of experience as a Continuous Improvement Engineer, Lean Engineer, or related occupation in the manufacturing operations, Lean/Continuous Improvement, or process engineering field. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with:( 1) Utilizing Lean tools (Kaizen, VSM, 5S, SMED, A3/PDCA, and root cause analysis); (2) ERP/MES systems; (3) Data analysis and visualization utilizing (Excel or Power BI); (4) Implementing visual management systems, 5S and tiered daily management; and (5) Facilitating and coaching Kaizen workshops and team development.
