Position SummarySALT is seeking a high-performing Manager of FP&A to support corporate functions across the organization. This role will serve as a key finance partner to departments including IT, HR, RCM, Marketing, and Talent Acquisition, helping drive budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance insights.
Beyond core FP&A responsibilities, this role will play a critical part in ad hoc analysis, identifying scalability opportunities, improving operational efficiency, and helping drive these functions forward as the organization continues to grow. This is a highly visible role within the FP&A team, offering exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence decision-making in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & Analysis- Support the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning for corporate functions.
- Partner with functional leaders to develop and manage departmental budgets.
- Analyze monthly results vs. budget/forecast and clearly articulate key drivers of variance.
- Build and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
Business Partnering- Act as a trusted finance partner to leaders across IT, HR, RCM, Marketing, and Talent Acquisition.
- Translate financial data into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
- Support cost management initiatives and identify opportunities for efficiency and ROI improvement.
Strategic & Ad Hoc Analysis- Perform ad hoc analyses to support decision-making across corporate functions.
- Identify opportunities to scale processes, improve efficiency, and optimize resource allocation.
- Evaluate and support initiatives that drive growth, productivity, and cost effectiveness.
- Help implement data-driven approaches to improve how functions operate and measure success.
Reporting & Insights- Prepare monthly reporting packages and dashboards for leadership.
- Develop KPIs and performance metrics (e.g., cost per hire, marketing ROI, RCM performance).
- Assist in building scalable reporting processes and tools.
Ad Hoc & Strategic Support- Support business cases for new investments (technology, headcount, marketing spend, etc.).
- Participate in cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Assist in preparation of materials for executive leadership and private equity stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or consulting.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills (advanced Excel required).
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and non-finance stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present insights clearly and concisely.
- Experience in healthcare, multi-site businesses, or private equity-backed environments is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications- Highly proactive with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to move beyond reporting and drive insights that lead to action.
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to connect data to business strategy.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Systems experience (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, FP&A tools) is a plus.
