Manager of EHS

We are seeking a strategic, hands-on EHS Manager to lead Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives across our North American operations. In this highly visible role, you'll translate our global SHE framework into practical, compliant, high-impact programs that strengthen our safety culture, ensure regulatory excellence, and proactively protect our people, communities, and reputation.

What We Ask

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • 7+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience within manufacturing
    (Dairy, Food, Ingredients, or Pharma strongly preferred)

Technical Expertise
  • Deep working knowledge of:
    • OSHA regulations and compliance
    • GMP environments
    • Filtration, drying, and evaporating unit operations
    • Wastewater and environmental compliance

Your Impact

As the North American EHS Leader, you will be responsible for:
  • Translating global EHS strategy into actionable, U.S.-compliant programs
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations across FL, NJ, NY, and WI
  • Protecting our License to Operate across manufacturing and office locations
  • Driving continuous improvement in safety, health, and environmental performance
  • Leading regulatory inspections, audits, and compliance responses
  • Developing annual goals, budgets, and performance targets
  • Coaching leaders and frontline teams on risk mitigation and regulatory expectations
  • Embedding a safety culture grounded in our "I AM SAFE" philosophy

This role requires balancing global standards with local regulatory complexity - and influencing stakeholders across multiple sites and functions.

What You'll Lead
  • Site-wide hazard identification and risk mitigation programs
  • OSHA compliance, injury reporting, workers' compensation, and return-to-work programs
  • Environmental compliance, including wastewater, air emissions (Clean Air Act), chemicals, and solid waste
  • GMP-aligned safety programs within food and ingredient manufacturing
  • EHS Committee leadership and training governance
  • Regulatory inspections, notices of violation, and external agency coordination
  • Data-driven reporting to senior leadership on trends, risks, and improvement initiatives
  • Coaching and development of local EHS and operational resources

You will also play a critical role in translating complex regulatory requirements into practical, understandable actions that resonate at every level of the organization.
