This role is central to the successful implementation and long-term operation of the company's SAP ERP platform, and owns the stability, security, and performance of network and infrastructure across the business. The Manager of Digital Technology partners closely with the VP of Operations and functional leaders to ensure technology decisions support operational needs, brand priorities, and the company's broader transformation agenda.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop the team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning. Team functions include Engineering, Help Desk and Network oversight.
  • Balance individual technical contribution with management responsibilities, remaining hands-on while building team capability.
  • Set clear priorities and workload expectations, providing direction and removing obstacles so the team can execute effectively.
  • Support team members' growth and development through regular feedback, coaching, and stretch opportunities.
ERP Implementation & Systems Management
  • Serve as a primary technical lead for the SAP ERP implementation, partnering with the VP of Operations and external partners to ensure delivery against project milestones and business requirements.
  • Manage system configuration, testing, data migration, and go-live support, maintaining hands-on involvement throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Manage current iSeries ERP maintenance priorities, documentation, and user support to ensure continuity and stability until end of operation.
  • Develop and maintain SAP ERP knowledge base, process documentation, and user support protocols post-implementation.
  • Ensure ongoing system integrity, performance, and scalability as the business grows.
  • Act as the key liaison between functional business users and technical teams (both in North America and in our Italian HQ) to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
Networking & Infrastructure
  • Own the design, maintenance, and performance of network infrastructure across all North American locations, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
  • Manage endpoint and infrastructure security in alignment with global standards set by Tecnica Group's parent organization.
  • Oversee hardware lifecycle management, procurement, and asset tracking.
  • Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans for critical systems are current and tested.
  • Monitor and maintain connectivity and uptime across office, warehouse, and remote environments.
Enterprise Applications & User Support
  • Support the portfolio of enterprise applications, including integrations between SAP and other business-critical platforms.
  • Oversee helpdesk and user support operations, ensuring timely resolution of issues and high-quality experiences for the user community.
  • Develop and oversee onboarding and training programs to ensure the user community feels empowered to leverage technology to its fullest potential
  • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that support operational efficiency and growth.
  • Partner with global IT teams to align North American systems with enterprise standards while advocating for regional business needs.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise ERP implementations, with SAP experience strongly preferred.
  • Technical expertise in networking, infrastructure, and endpoint security.
  • Proven ability to operate as a player-coach, contributing hands-on technical work while managing and developing a team.
  • Experience managing enterprise application portfolios and cross-system integrations.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Effective communicator who can translate technical concepts for non-technical business partners.
  • Experience working within a multi-entity or multi-brand business environment.

The successful candidate will be:
  • Technically strong and hands-on, comfortable working in the details while managing a team and influencing up.
  • Calm under pressure, providing stability and clear direction when systems, projects, or priorities get complex.
  • Collaborative and communicative, building trust with both technical colleagues and business partners across functions.
  • Execution-focused, following through on commitments and holding the team to the same standard.
  • Curious and forward-thinking, staying current on technology trends and continuously looking for ways to improve.
  • People-centered, investing in team development and creating an environment where people do their best work.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within a global or matrixed organization
  • Familiarity with 3PL, warehouse management, or supply chain technology environments
  • Experience working in a similar industry and/or with a portfolio of brands
