MANAGER OF BUSINESS PLANNING
SUMMARY
The Manager of Business Planning will be a member of the EPC Corporate Planning team, supporting the business unit's strategic planning, headquarters reporting, and corporate governance functions. Working under the direction of the Senior Managers of Business Planning, this role provides analytical support, consolidates business unit reporting for headquarters submission, and administers the internal approval process.
This position reports to the Sr. Director of Business Planning, or another management personnel that the CEO of the Company may designate. This position is hybrid and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. This position is expected to travel up to 20%.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
30% - HQ Reporting Consolidation & Submission
- Collect, consolidate, and quality-check report drafts and data inputs from contributing departments for weekly, monthly, and semi-annual headquarters submissions
- Maintain the recurring reporting calendar and secure inputs from owners ahead of submission deadlines
- Track headquarters inquiries through to closure, escalating unresolved items to the Senior Managers of Business Planning
30% - Governance & Approval Process Administration
- Administer internal approval requests and routing, verifying package completeness before submission
- Maintain Delegation of Authority (DOA) reference materials, case precedents, and templates for requesting departments
- Respond to routine procedural inquiries, referring interpretive questions to the Senior Managers of Business Planning
30% - Strategic Planning & Analytical Support
- Conduct market, competitor, and benchmarking research to support the business unit's strategic direction and semi-annual strategy sessions
- Compile and maintain KPI tracking data, flagging variances to the responsible owners
- Prepare analysis and supporting materials for strategy sessions, leadership workshops, and internal pre-session reviews
10% - Other Duties
- Assist with ad-hoc analysis and information requests from business unit leadership
- Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position
- Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by Management
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in planning, analysis, consulting, or research-based roles; an advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a quantitative or technical field may substitute for up to 2 years of experience
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure research and present findings clearly
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple recurring deadlines and coordinate inputs from several contributors
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams at multiple levels of the organization
• Advanced computer skills including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in energy, construction, or infrastructure industries; familiarity with renewable energy
• Prior experience in corporate planning, management consulting, or a strategy function
• Familiarity with data management or visualization tools
