Nurse Manager Nephrology Surgical/Dialysis @ Swedish First Hill

Reports To: Director of Nursing- Acute Care
Direct Reports: Assistant Nurse Manager and approximately 70 FTE

Position Summary

The Nurse Manager is accountable for the operational, clinical, quality, and financial performance of a 30-bed inpatient Nephrology, Urology, and Organ Transplant unit, as well as the Inpatient Hemodialysis Team. This leader provides strategic and day-to-day oversight of patient care delivery, ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: BSN from an accredited school of nursing, or ADN and a commitment to obtain BSN within two years of date of hire.
  • Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 3 years Recent experience in related clinical area of nursing.
  • Must meet criteria of Registered Nurse.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in nursing or related field.
  • 1 year of First line management experience.
