Full Job Description
Aspirus Langlade Hospital in Antigo, WI is seeking a MANAGER- NURSING to join our EMERGENCY ROOM team!

The Manager of Nursing has direct responsibility for managing patient care delivery to optimize patient outcomes, customer satisfaction and resource management overseeing the day-to-day delivery of safe, quality care through coordination of interdepartmental services, patient placement, clinical staffing assignment/support and information flow within their respective department.

As a member of the leadership team, supports and facilitates an interdisciplinary team approach to the overall delivery of care to patients, families, and the community. This includes creating a culture where collaboration is valued and excellence in clinical care redesign and education is promoted and achieved to meet the evolving needs. Manages quality, safety, engagement, workforce planning and stabilization, and transforming initiatives within their area of responsibility. Assures the vision of and the advancement of the profession of Nursing is evident in the professional practice environment.

HOURS: Full Time, 1.0 FTE, 8-hour day shifts, general no weekends

Experience/Qualifications

  • Valid and current Wisconsin or Michigan registered nurse license or compact license.

  • Certification in nursing leadership is desired.
  • Minimum of three years supervisory or relevant experience required.

  • Applies knowledge of nursing operations and policy, as well as development and implementation of budgets, strategies, and standards.
  • Has hospital/health system experience with direct responsibility for talent management, cost/revenue centers and performance improvement.
  • Demonstrates effectiveness in a leader role and organizational management skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to successfully work within a highly matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and follow through on commitments.
