Otis Elevator is searching for a highly motivated operations leader to drive productivity and the performance of new equipment projects for the branch and customers. This critical leadership role will be responsible for the new equipment business, including field operations, customer satisfaction and overall general business management.

On a typical day you will:
  • Lead, direct, and oversee New Equipment field operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.
  • Supervise and support installation teams and field mechanics, driving performance, productivity, and employee development.
  • Manage project financial performance, including profitability, working capital, and operational efficiency goals.
  • Develop and maintain a strong safety culture by conducting field training, safety audits, jobsite inspections, and site safety/logistics planning.
  • Coordinate project resources, including labor forecasting, workforce scheduling, material deliveries, and purchase order management, to ensure successful project completion.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with customers, field employees, coworkers, and project stakeholders to support project success and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and develop solutions to address challenges, improve efficiencies, and maintain quality standards.
  • Analyze project requirements and field conditions to assist with estimating, planning, and contingency development.


What You Will Need to Be Successful
  • 3-5+ years of elevator industry experience is strongly preferred. Relevant experience leading field associates, technicians, mechanics, adjustors, apprentices, or service/construction teams within the elevator industry is highly valued.
  • Candidates with 5+ years of experience in the construction industry or a related technical field leading field-based teams will also be considered.
  • One of the following education and experience combinations:
    • 2-year degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or
    • 4-year degree and 3 years of relevant experience, or
    • High school diploma or equivalent with a proven technical elevator background (such as apprentice, mechanic, adjustor, or similar).
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and relationship management skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a technical environment and proficient with Microsoft-based software applications.


The range for this role is $130,000 to $160,000 plus bonus. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
