About the Job:

The Milk Operations team is seeking a highly analytical and strategic leader to drive data-driven decision-making across our dairy supply chain. The Manager, Milk Operations Analytics will serve as the center of excellence for milk operations analytics, partnering closely with Supply Planning, Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Legal, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams to optimize milk sourcing, supply planning, cost management, and risk mitigation.

This role will lead the development of forecasting models, scenario analysis, supply optimization tools, and key performance metrics that support both operational and strategic decisions across the milk supply network. The role can be hybrid or remote with a preference to be based in Broomfield, CO.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead all Milk Operations analytics, providing data-driven insights to support strategic and operational decision-making across milk procurement, supply planning, manufacturing, finance, and commercial teams.
  • Develop and maintain milk supply forecasts, including short-term, monthly, and annual volume projections to support finance, network balancing and supply planning activities.
  • Conduct landed cost modeling, scenario analysis, and network optimization studies to evaluate sourcing strategies and operational tradeoffs.
  • Lead pooling analytics and reporting to maximize financial performance and support regulatory compliance.
  • Perform risk analysis and scenario planning to identify and mitigate milk supply, pricing, operational, and market risks.
  • Support NFDM planning through supply, inventory, demand, and production analytics.
  • Partner with Supply Planning teams to resolve raw milk and cream supply imbalances across internal plants and co-manufacturing facilities.
  • Develop, monitor, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and scorecards for suppliers and Milk Operations performance.
  • Build and maintain analytical models, reporting tools, and business intelligence solutions that improve visibility, decision-making, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Planning, Finance, Accounting, Legal, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams to support business objectives and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement projects that drive cost savings, supply reliability, and operational excellence across the dairy supply chain.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior leadership, translating complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Travel up to 25% or as needed


About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Agriculture, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in dairy supply chain, milk procurement, supply planning, operations analytics, sourcing, manufacturing, or related disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of dairy supply chain dynamics, milk procurement, dairy markets, and dairy herd dynamics.
  • Experience with milk supply forecasting, financial planning, landed cost analysis, pooling, risk management, and scenario modeling.
  • Advanced analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Proven experience developing KPIs, dashboards, scorecards, and executive-level reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with SAP, APO, Power BI, Tableau, or similar planning and analytics tools.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, drive change, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
