WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The Manager, Merchant Marketing executes brand and campaign strategy for the National Retail loyalty partnership portfolio. This role implements annual partner marketing plans, coordinates with partners and internal stakeholders on priorities and timelines and delivers integrated campaigns across channels. They manage day-to-day partner relationships, oversee campaign execution, monitor performance against targets, and optimize plans in-market to drive results.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
  • Campaign Execution: Design and execute integrated campaigns (digital, in-store, events, media) across partner channels, managing timelines and deliverables.
  • Partner Coordination: Serve as the day-to-day marketing contact with key partners, managing relationships, coordinating campaign rollouts, and ensuring accountability for execution.
  • Plan Implementation: Execute annual partner marketing plans, translating priorities into actionable tasks and ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on timelines and deliverables.
  • Performance Management: Track KPIs (acquisition, engagement, spend, retention, redemption, etc.), report on results, and optimize campaigns in-market to meet targets.
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Work with internal teams (brand, digital, product analytics, finance) and external agencies to coordinate seamless campaign delivery.
  • Agency & Vendor Management: Brief agencies on campaign requirements, manage approvals, track deliverables, and ensure quality execution against specifications.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:
  • 3-5 years of experience executing marketing campaigns, ideally in loyalty, partnerships, or retail.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-channel campaigns and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience working with agencies and external vendors to deliver campaigns on time and on brief.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bilingual in French and English (fluent).
  • Proven experience marketing in the Quebec market and understanding of Quebec consumer dynamics.


Nice-to-have:
  • Background in financial services or consumer loyalty marketing.
  • Experience with digital campaign management and paid media execution.
  • Familiarity with loyalty program operations (offers, redemption, points conversion).
