Full Job Description
The Manager or Materials and Logistics will lead and develop a team of materials, and logistics personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ultimately ensure efficient procurement of supplies needed to for radiopharmaceutical production and timely packaging, shipment, and delivery of our radiopharmaceutical isotope products. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing inventory planning and control, procurement support, supplier coordination, receipt and storage of materials, shipping and transportation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, organization skills, supply chain expertise, and a deep understanding of regulatory compliance within the radiopharmaceutical industry.

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead, develop, and manage a team of materials and logistics personnel, providing guidance, training, and

performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure a consistent and reliable supply of

raw materials, consumables, and equipment necessary for GMP radiopharmaceutical production.
• Identify and establish relationships with reliable suppliers, negotiate terms, and manage

contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
• Maintain prompt communications with customers and the sales team to communicate sales,

logistics, successful delivery of final products, and billing.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and proactively address potential disruptions in

the supply chain.
• Identify process improvements to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Provide support for audits and inspections by maintaining proper documentation and procedures.
• Implement and manage inventory management systems and practices using Priority ERP software to accurately track, organize,

and optimize material stockpiles.
• Monitor logistics performance, resolve issues, and proactively address potential disruptions in

deliveries.
• Conduct regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation to ensure accurate records

and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with transportation partners to optimize shipping methods, reduce lead times, and

manage transportation costs.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations and guidelines governing the procurement, handling,

and transportation of radiopharmaceutical materials.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation related to materials, including certificates

of analysis, quality control reports, and compliance records.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, regulatory

affairs, and finance, to ensure seamless material flow and operational efficiency.

Education and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
