Job Title Manager - Master Scheduling

Division: Open Manufacturing

Location: El Segundo, CA

Reports To: Senior Manager, Supply Chain

What You Will Do:

As the Manager, Master Scheduling you will help manage the establishment of the Master Production Schedule and the development of overall logistics strategy by working with production and business leaders to implement a world-class execution and delivery system, while continuing to drive continuous improvement through Open Manufacturing Operations.

Key Job Accountabilities:
  • Manage the partnership with divisional cross functional stakeholders and build trust by information sharing, collaboration, and driving initiatives to achieve service level targets and other critical operational KPIs.
  • Develop a 12-month Master Production Schedule (MPS) through APO in collaboration with GBSC teams and MSC and allocate medium to long-term capacity of the plant.
  • Determine business priorities with the GBSC team to translate into a production plan & provide availability dates on low stock items.
  • Lead strategic initiatives and partner with the MSC team to define ways to improve recovery on top service offenders, identify areas of opportunity and employ creative solutions to resolve operational bottlenecks.
  • Challenge the results on achievement and adherence to ensure 100% realization of the validated plan & track plan stability by division.
  • Analyze business signals (demand fluctuations / safety parameter updates) & proactively alert the OMA MSC & leadership of major plan changes.
  • Track and provide availability dates on low stock items and escalate any risks to plan realization.
  • Drive conversations about E&O and liabilities based on plan fluctuations with divisional partners.
  • Lead several meetings with varying audiences including the GBSC leadership, GBSC teams, internal OMA leadership and partners etc.
  • Regularly monitor Supply Chain performance and agility KPI and lead the corrective measures. Analyze the plant performance in terms of production plan realization (Achievement/Adherence), Service, Gap to Net Requirement, and FG inventories and E&O. Report a summary of key indicators to other departments.
  • Define and Lead agility and continuous improvement on one's catalog.


What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain discipline required.
  • Master's degree a plus.

  • 5 years' experience in manufacturing operations within cosmetics or related industry.


Additional Requirements:
  • Strong Microsoft office skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Detail orientation.

Essential Requirements:
  • Computer skills, to include experience with spreadsheets, pivot tables, presentations, graphics software and database management.
  • Experience with SAP a plus.
