Job Title: Manager - Real Estate Valuations

Location: Onsite (Orange County, California) | Hybrid eligible after onboarding
Department: Real Estate
Reports To: Jennifer Simmonson
Job Type: Full-Time

About the role:

As Manager - Real Estate Valuations, you will:
  • Lead and manage valuation engagements, ensuring high standards of quality, compliance with technical standards, timely project delivery, and profitability.
  • Serve as a primary liaison with clients, property contacts, and professional advisors (e.g., tax, audit, and legal teams), professionally representing M&S.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams across real estate, financial valuation, and machinery & equipment appraisal groups for coordinated projects.
  • Support the sales team as required, including the preparation of presentations.


What Makes You Successful in This Role
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in valuation within an independent valuation firm, investment bank, or accounting firm.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Economics preferred.
  • Professional certification: MAI (Appraisal Institute) and New York State General Certified Appraiser License required.
  • Strong analytical, research, and financial modeling skills.
