Position Overview
WATT Consulting Group is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and relationship-driven Manager, Marketing & Growth to help build and scale the company's business development, marketing, and proposal operations platform.

This role is ideal for a strategic operator who thrives in fast-paced consulting environments and enjoys bringing structure, accountability, and momentum to growth initiatives. The successful candidate will work directly with senior leadership to coordinate pursuits, standardize marketing systems, improve proposal quality and efficiency, and support business development efforts across Canada.

The Manager, Marketing & Growth will serve as a central connector between technical teams, leadership, clients, and strategic opportunities - helping WATT operate with greater consistency, visibility, and execution discipline.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Proposal Operations
• Develop and standardize proposal, marketing, and pursuit processes across all WATT business units
• Create scalable systems, templates, and workflows for proposals, qualifications packages, resumes, project sheets, and marketing collateral
• Lead and coordinate proposal submissions from initiation through delivery
• Manage proposal schedules, responsibilities, deadlines, reviews, and final production
• Manage a formal go/no-go process for project pursuits
• Maintain and improve proposal tracking systems, pursuit calendars, and opportunity pipelines with technology integration
• Coordinate internal review meetings and ensure accountability across teams
• Track proposal success metrics, hit rates, client activity, and workload forecasting
• Help prioritize strategic pursuits based on probability, revenue potential, resource availability, and long-term client value
• Ensure proposal quality, consistency, and alignment with WATT's brand and strategic direction

Business Development & Client Engagement
• Coordinate and participate in business development calls, meetings, and follow-ups
• Track client interactions, meeting notes, opportunities, and action items
• Support leadership in developing and maintaining strategic client relationships
• Assist with identifying target clients, sectors, and growth opportunities
• Organize client outreach campaigns, presentations, networking events, and conferences
• Represent WATT at industry events, client meetings, and networking functions
• Accompany senior leaders to client meetings and support presentation preparation and follow-through
• Help maintain CRM systems and ensure opportunity data is accurate and current

Strategic Growth & Internal Coordination
• Bring together disparate teams and offices to improve communication, alignment, and pursuit coordination
• Support leadership with strategic planning initiatives related to growth and market positioning
• Assist in developing marketing strategies, brand positioning, and external communications
• Help create a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and execution around pursuits and business development activities

Qualifications & Experience
• 10+ years of experience in marketing, proposals, business development, or growth operations within consulting, architecture, engineering, or professional services environments
• Strong understanding of proposal and procurement processes within engineering or AEC industries
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously
• Comfortable interacting with senior leadership and external clients
• Experience with CRM systems, proposal tracking tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with InDesign, PowerPoint, and marketing production workflows is considered an asset
• Highly self-motivated with strong attention to detail and follow-through
