Full Job Description
Role Mandate:

Enterprise Programs are highly visible customer initiatives that drive engagement, loyalty and value for millions of Canadians.

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end planning and execution by developing integrated project plans, aligning numerous cross-functional teams, proactively managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring successful delivery against scope, timeline and budget.

You will establish project governance, facilitate key decision-making forums and provide clear executive reporting. The ideal candidate will influence stakeholders at all levels without direct authority to build alignment and maintain project momentum.

You will bring bold, fresh thinking combined with a very strong project management acumen, and a solid understanding of marketing process and retail to help fuel successful program delivery.

Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Program Management within a team of project managers, you are a project subject matter expert responsible for delivering high-impact enterprise programs like Hit of the Month, Collectables and Collect & Save stamp programs.

This contract role will be based out of the Brampton office at 1 President's Choice Circle, Brampton and is hybrid with four days in office, 1 day remote.

What you'll do:
  • Project Management: Lead end-to-end program delivery by developing integrated project plans, establishing governance, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing risks and dependencies, and providing clear executive reporting to ensure successful delivery against scope, timeline and budget.
  • Collaboration: Build and maintain strong collaborative partnerships with relevant teams across the organization and enable a strong collaborative culture. Ensure clear and concise communication across stakeholders and build solid executional timelines with multiple stakeholders.
  • Innovation: Continuously improve project delivery by leveraging modern project management practices, AI-enabled tools and standardized processes to increase efficiency and team effectiveness.
  • Leadership: Influence project team performance through collaborative candor, adaptability and leading by example. Demonstrates a drive to achieve project success and is invested in the success of stakeholders. Lead project management meetings and documentation.


What will success look like:
  • Project milestones are delivered on time, within budget. Programs deliver planned KPIs including reduced expenses, increased sales/ enagement/baskets/trips.
  • Risks identified early and managed proactively.
  • Stakeholders remain aligned throughout delivery.
  • Executive leaders have confidence in program health and decision readiness.

What you'll need:
  • An ability to be a strong self-starter who is curious and always learning. A solid and established project management foundation with a desire to hone experience with large complex programs.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, including large scale projects, within the Retail industry (including in-store and Retail Operations) with full project ownership and accountability.
  • Experience managing projects within complex matrix organizations plus proven knowledge and ability to build a rigorous PM cadence to deliver projects successfully is mandatory.
  • PMP designation, certification required or proven equivalent years' experience managing complex and cross functional projects. This includes strong knowledge and understanding of PM principles and tools.
  • Proven ability to lead and collaborate across multiple stakeholders to build a comprehensive project plan to deliver key milestones.
  • Excellent executive communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into concise updates and recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Experience a demonstrated passion for project management tech - Workfront, MS Project, Smartsheet, Wrike, Asana etc.
  • Strong efficiancy in MS Office programs, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Teams with the ability to easily navigate and move quickly.
  • CAPEX and OPEX Budget understanding is required and experience managing project budgets is an asset.
  • Confident with project reporting, dashboards and AI tools for project admin tasks.
