What You Will Do:JOB SUMMARY: The Manager, Marketing, oversees the development & execution of 360 Animation Campaigns for all respective innovation and core in their categories. Partnering closely with N+1, N+2 to build the brand strategy, They additionally act as the strategic marketing lead for retailers (Macy's, Dillards, Nordstrom, TikTok Shop, Sephora, SWAK) partnering closely with Trade Marketing, CERE, and Sales to execute. They will be instrumental in supporting the A&I strategic plan partnering closely with the Brand engagement lead.
PRINCIPLE OBJECTIVES: - Partner with Marketing Director to develop the brand strategy & strategic plan
- Develop the brand's tactics & execution for their categories with market & customer analysis (market intel, market NPD sizing, customer feedback, customer shopping behaviors, CRM data) to ensure our fair share of market and retailer needs are met.
- Successfully supports the brand's promotional & sampling strategy and budget across all channels to drive evergreen trial & recruitment
- Manages the launch alignment timeline with the DMI/development and demand planning highlighting senior management when potential milestones or alignments have not been met.
- Co-pilot with trade marketing and CERE the marketing tactics & trade activations for key retailers, working closing with sales on key needs for top retailers, to ensure that the marketing plan is implemented in the field starting with ensuring timely delivery of all elements, getting the order form setup, ongoing collaboration and then soliciting feedback for improvement by way of post-mortem and weekly results tracking.
- Tracks market and competitive activity (new launches, exposures, reviews, media, etc) and provides regular feedback to the broader Marketing team on trends.
- Responsible for key business operations such as opening Purchase Orders, Shop Orders, and Code Creation when necessary.
MARKET ANALYSIS:- Follows competition and communicates market trends on a monthly basis (Luxe + Accessible Luxury too).
- Identifies and evaluates competitive new product launches and promotions, as well as Treatments and spas animations and gives short recap at the monthly marketing meeting.
- Visits field and occasionally helps to execute events/animations as needed.
DEVELOPMENT:- Makes strategic recommendations to develop her/his lines, either through product launches, extensions, reformulations or basic business support.
- Create efficiencies in processes and facilitate the internal process of input and approval of programs.
- Prepares seasonal launch presentations for the field in order to secure door-level sales and merchandising opportunities.
- Develops and empowers peers & potential MTs to ideate, execute and deliver results.
Requirements: - A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience is required.
- 2-4 years of marketing experience is required, fragrance marketing is a plus.
- Proficient in: Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Proficiency in Spanish is highly recommended
- Strategic and demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Strong communication skills (written and oral) and the ability to handle multiple and diverse tasks is a must.
- Strong financial / analytical experience including sales forecasting, analysis of business, profit, budget management.
- Ability to work in a very hands on, entrepreneurial environment.
- Fostering teamwork, ability to influence others and maintaining a positive attitude, and always taking initiative and being proactive..
- Solid understanding of ROI analysis, metrics and program/budget forecasting.
