  • Champion safety leadership and serve as plant emergency coordinator, ensuring compliance with federal/state fire, safety, environmental, and food safety regulations
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through lean manufacturing principles, including TPM implementation and root cause analysis for equipment failures
  • Lead, mentor, and coach the maintenance team while identifying and staffing the department with qualified talent
  • Manage comprehensive work order systems with emphasis on safety work orders, preventive maintenance scheduling, and Daily Team Maintenance initiatives
  • Coordinate and manage the annual department budget, optimizing resource allocation for maximum operational efficiency
  • Manage capital and expense projects related to new equipment and continuous improvement, working closely with Process and Corporate Engineers
  • Perform daily plant walks to observe and adjust safety, quality, and productivity issues impacting performance
  • Select, oversee, and evaluate contractor performance to ensure safe, cost-effective, and compliant execution of maintenance and capital activities
  • Support technical needs in dealing with community and governmental groups while maintaining compliance with corporate policies

  • Capital Project Management — Managing multiple projects from conception through completion, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring timeline and budget adherence
  • Team Leadership & Development — Building, coaching, and developing high-performing maintenance teams with focus on talent acquisition, engagement, and professional growth
  • Budget & Financial Acumen — Developing and managing departmental budgets, analyzing financial performance, and communicating resource needs to senior leadership

  • CMMS & Work Order Management — Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems, work order tracking, and preventive maintenance scheduling
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration — Working effectively with engineering teams, plant management, external stakeholders, and vendor partnerships

What You Bring

  • Proven experience leading a maintenance department in a manufacturing environment with supervisory/management responsibility
  • Experience implementing Preventive and Predictive Maintenance technologies and Lean Manufacturing principles (TPM)
