Manager, Maintenance & Engineering

Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM) is seeking a Manager, Maintenance & Engineering to lead our maintenance team in Carlisle, PA. This is a high-impact leadership role, responsible for ensuring our facility and production equipment are operating safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. You'll oversee maintenance and engineering activities, develop a high-performing team, and drive continuous improvement to optimize performance.

What You'll Do:

  • Champion safety-first initiatives and ensure compliance with CCM safety programs.
  • Develop a strong, customer-focused maintenance & engineering team through coaching and leadership.
  • Set clear standards, provide tools and training, and hold team members accountable for excellence.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality Services, EHS, and more to align maintenance strategies with business goals.
  • Lead the planning and execution of preventive maintenance programs, capital projects, and plant utilities.
  • Optimize reliability by implementing best-in-class maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.
  • Drive continuous improvement, leveraging COS (Continuous Operating System) methodologies to solve problems and enhance processes.
  • Oversee budget management and cost control while ensuring optimal equipment performance.

What You Bring:
5-7 years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field (Mechanical/Electrical specialization preferred).
• OR 10+ years of maintenance leadership experience with an Associate's degree in a related technical field.
• Proven experience leading maintenance teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage shifting priorities.
