This role resolves cross-functional delivery bottlenecks and operational friction by mentoring, aligning, and empowering a high-performing technical program management team. The position eliminates execution misalignments between technical engineering units and business executives through collaborative leadership, disciplined governance, and clear accountability structures. Additionally, the role mitigates enterprise risk and vendor underperformance by coaching team members on proactive dependency management, milestone tracking, and stakeholder communication.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives)

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of program managers to achieve departmental OKRs and sustain operational excellence.
• Direct the end-to-end delivery of enterprise security programs across core infrastructure systems while maintaining accountability to budget, scope, and schedule commitments.
• Establish standard program governance frameworks, executive reporting structures, and proactive risk mitigation workflows to eliminate delivery roadblocks.
• Guide cross-functional engineering units, external vendor partners, and project leads through critical delivery milestones with transparent communication.
• Champion the adoption of AI-first workflows and automation tools to increase team tracking precision and optimize resource allocation.
• Align software engineering, infrastructure teams, and executive stakeholders on security architectures, delivery commitments, and strategic roadmaps.

• Proven people leadership skills to coach technical program managers, build team accountability, and guide career progression.
• Critical experience directing large-scale IT security programs and enterprise infrastructure deployments within complex environments.
• Functional expertise in NIST security standards, cybersecurity risk management frameworks, and modern SDLC or Agile methodologies.
• Advanced diplomatic, negotiation, and executive communication abilities to evaluate complex SOWs/RFPs, resolve organizational conflict, and align non-technical leaders.
• AI Application capabilities to direct team adoption of automation tools for program monitoring, data synthesis, and operational decision-making.
• Strategic decision-making and problem-solving abilities to assess program health, guide teams through technical changes, and protect business priorities.

Additional Qualifications

• PMP or PgMP certification, or an advanced technical degree
• Technical familiarity with AWS or public cloud architectures, data networking, and wireless systems
• Experience utilizing enterprise security monitoring tools and threat platforms

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum Experience: 6 years of experience in program management, with at least 5 years focused in IT and IT security, including experience leading or managing delivery teams
• Required Technical Skills: Must have experience with:
  
  • NIST security standards and cybersecurity risk management frameworks
  • Enterprise IT infrastructure program management
  • Vendor management, contract negotiation, RFPs, and SOW execution
  • Agile and SDLC methodologies
  • Program governance tools (e.g., MS Project, Visio, GSuite)

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $110,100.00/Year - $157,300.00/Year
