We areseeking a strategic and relationship focused Manager, IT Contract & Vendor Managementto lead the governance, performance,and optimization of our IT vendor portfolio.

The Role

Reporting to the Executive Director, Business Transformation, you willbe responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of IT vendor and contract management. This includes developing vendor strategies, negotiating complex agreements, strengthening vendor partnerships, managing risk, and ensuring our technology investments deliver maximum value to the business.

This role is critical to achieving companyobjectives, delivering value through key areas of oversight including:

  • Cultivating andmaintainingrelationships with IT vendors to ensure alignment with organizational goals andobjectives;
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for IT vendor communications, issue resolution, and escalations;
  • Conducting regular IT vendor performance reviews and providing feedback to vendors as needed;
  • Negotiating IT contracts, service level agreements, and pricing structures with vendors to achieve favorable terms, conditions, and cost optimization;
  • Reviewing and analyzing contract terms to ensure compliance with legal, Procurement & Supply Chain, and regulatory requirements;
  • Monitoringcontractexpirationdates and renewal deadlines, proactively managing contract renewals and terminations;
  • Collaboratingwith internal stakeholders to assess business needs and requirements for IT services and solutions;
  • Leadingthe vendor selection process in partnership with Procurement & Supply Chain, includingvendor evaluation, RFx development,and vendor scoring on behalf of IT;
  • Facilitating the onboarding process for new vendors, ensuring smooth transition and integration into existing IT operations;
  • Identifyingand assessing vendor-related risks, including cybersecurity, data privacy, financial stability, and industry factorsimpactingvendor performance;
  • Developing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address potential vendor disruptions;
  • Establishingkey performance indicators and metrics to measure andmonitorvendor performance andservice quality;
  • Conductingregular performance reviews and audits tomonitorvendor compliance and service delivery;
  • Conducting regular internal compliance reviews to ensure adherence to vendor terms and conditions;
  • Implementingcorrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure compliance, enhance performance,anddrivecustomer satisfaction;

What you bring to the team

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
  • MBA or relevant graduate degree is considered an asset
  • 5+ years of experience in IT vendor management, contract negotiation, and procurement
  • Proven ability to negotiate complex contracts and interpret legal and commercial terms
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT vendors and technologies (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Adobe)
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks(e.g. GDPR, HIPAA,privacy, security, data protection)
  • Experience with procurement processes, RFx development, and vendor evaluation
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks and vendor management tools
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
  • A strategic mindset paired with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

What we offer

This is a regular full-time position with a target salary range of$98,500to$123,100per annum.The starting salary isdeterminedbased on the successful candidates knowledge,experienceand internal equity.
