As the Manager IT Applications - Epic Ambulatory and Population Health, you will play a critical leadership role at the intersection of technology and care transformation. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead high-impact initiatives using Epic's Ambulatory and Healthy Planet platforms, driving population health strategy, advancing value-based program management, and enabling clinicians with the tools they need to deliver proactive, coordinated care. This role is also instrumental in supporting consumerism to enhance how patients connect to care, navigate services, and experience continuity across the care continuum.

You will lead a talented team supporting mission-critical applications that power ambulatory care and population health programs across the health system. From optimizing workflows to enabling new models of care and payer collaboration, your work will directly influence quality, outcomes, and patient experience.

Job Overview:

The Manager IT Application's role is to supervise and maintain the organization's repository of software applications through best practices and the appropriate staffing and management of a technical team. The Applications Manager is responsible for ensuring the application systems and supporting application technologies operate at maximum efficiency, optimal cost effectiveness and highest level of customer satisfaction. The Applications Manager is also responsible for planning and coordinating the processes required for applications and systems necessary for business operations. This individual will apply proven communication and problem-solving skills to guide and assist application staff and other information technology teams on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems. This role will primarily be responsible for management and support of the Epic Ambulatory and Population Health modules for the health system, along with other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or relevant fields of study
Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree
Epic Ambulatory, Healthy Planet, Value-Based Program Management experience
Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of software solutions
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
Strong customer-service orientation
5-7 years experience in a related field

Job Responsibilities:

Complete staff performance recommendations on time.
  • Recommend disciplinary action or promotion path as appropriate.
  • Manage project resources appropriately to ensure quality of work life balance.
