Full Job Description
MANAGER, INTERNAL AUDIT

Essential Functions:
  • Coordinate, organize and schedule internal audit and SOX engagements to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Provide timely feedback on each internal audit and SOX engagement to ensure staff learning and development
  • Identify, document, evaluate, and test operating effectiveness of internal controls in internal audit and SOX compliance engagements
  • Review internal audit and SOX work papers to ensure we are compliant with quality control standards
  • Research/analyze internal control and risk management issues and provide solutions
  • Properly plan and manage internal audit and SOX engagements to ensure completion
  • Become an expert within assigned niches, as applicable
  • Facilitate monitoring the quality of our product and the performance of our personnel
  • Maintain public certification and adequate Continuing Professional Education units
  • Assist in special projects assigned by Partners
  • Develop new client contacts and relationships beneficial to the firm
  • Recognize opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients

Qualifications:
  • CPA, CIA, or CISA Certification Required
  • Demonstrated expertise in the Global Internal Audit Standards and SOX compliance
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in internal audit, 3 years as a senior (in-charge) auditor
  • Superior oral/written communication skills
  • Well-developed decision-making skills and initiative to make those decisions
  • Ability to critically think and problem-solve
  • Ability to prioritize a heavy workload and remain organized
  • Experience in/with Enterprise Risk Management ("ERM") and/or Quality Assessment Reviews is a plus
