About the role:
As an Implementation Manager supporting Payments One debit Implementations, you will serve as the primary client-facing lead responsible for guiding financial institutions through the full implementation and migration lifecycle. You will partner directly with clients to understand their Implementation requirements and be responsible for delivery from discovery through go live. This is a hybrid role requiring working out of the office, 3 days a week.
About the team:
You will be managing the payments one debit implementation team and will be part of the Professional Services Organization. You will be responsible for managing a team of Implementation analysts, that work on onboarding clients and executing complex debit platform conversions.
What you will be doing:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Leading Implementation analysts towards successful client implementations and migrations end-to-end, acting as the primary point of contact from project initiation through post-go-live support
- Partnering closely with clients to define products and configure solutions, including BIN setup, card programs, limits, fees, and transaction controls
- Driving Onboarding activities from discovery to go live and ensuring a seamless experience for the customer.
- Guiding clients through readiness, training, and procedural updates, ensuring proper use of FIS systems and successful adoption post-conversion
- Providing ongoing client support throughout the migration lifecycle, including issue resolution, balancing validation, and post-conversion stabilization
What you bring:
- Ability to manage multiple implementations in a fast-paced, high-risk environment
- Strong expertise in debit processing, including authorization, clearing, settlement, and transaction flows
- Proven ability to support clients through configuration and migration, including translating business requirements into system setup
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and client relationship management skills
- 15+ years of experience in payments, debit processing, or financial services implementations
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Required work hours: Standard business hours with flexibility during implementations
Overtime required: Yes, during critical migration and cutover periods
Weekends required: Yes, for conversion events
Travel percentage for this role: 5-10%
Added Bonus if you have:
- Experience with Payments One Debit (P1D) or similar debit platforms
- Prior experience supporting EFT switch migrations or core/payment processor conversions
- Knowledge of ISO 8583 messaging and transaction-level data flows
- Previous banking or debit card operations experience
