Lead an essential imaging team in one of Montana’s most beautiful communities.

Logan Health Whitefish is seeking an experienced and people-focused Manager of Imaging to lead the daily operations of our Imaging department. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong imaging professional who enjoys leading teams, improving processes, supporting high-quality patient care, and serving as a trusted technical and operational resource.

In this role, you will help guide a talented Imaging team that plays a critical role in diagnosis, treatment, patient experience, and care delivery. You will bring together clinical expertise, leadership, quality improvement, and operational oversight to ensure patients receive safe, timely, compassionate, and high-quality imaging services.

This position is ideal for a leader who is collaborative, detail-oriented, confident in clinical operations, and passionate about building a supportive team culture.

What You’ll Do

As the Manager of Imaging, you will provide day-to-day operational leadership for assigned Imaging services and specialty areas. You will support clinical staff, oversee patient care processes, monitor quality and safety standards, and help ensure the department is operating efficiently and effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading daily operations for assigned Imaging department areas.

  • Supporting staffing, orientation, education, competency, training, and performance development.

  • Serving as a technical resource for Imaging staff, providers, departments, patients, and families.

  • Maintaining expert technical and patient-care skills while supporting high-quality diagnostic results.

  • Creating a collaborative and mentorship-focused environment where team members feel supported and empowered.

  • Assisting with clinical duties as operationally needed.

  • Supporting quality, safety, risk management, regulatory compliance, and process improvement initiatives.

  • Encouraging reporting, analysis, and root cause review to support continuous improvement.

  • Monitoring productivity standards, supplies, equipment needs, and operational resources.

  • Assisting with operational and capital budget development and fiscal oversight.

  • Participating in policy and procedure development, review, training, and implementation.

  • Rounding regularly in assigned areas to support patients, families, staff, and department needs.

  • Building strong working relationships with providers, leaders, departments, and team members across Logan Health.

What You’ll Bring

Minimum of one of the following registrations is required:

  • Registered Radiologic Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, ARRT.

  • Registered Radiologic Technologist in Mammography through ARRT.

  • Registered Radiologic Technologist in Computed Tomography through ARRT.

  • Registered Radiologic Technologist in Nuclear Medicine through ARRT.

  • Registered Radiologic Technologist in Radiology through ARRT.

Additional requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of leadership experience required.

  • Strong understanding of budgetary processes and systems of accountability.

  • Familiarity with a variety of imaging concepts, practices, and procedures.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, radiation safety, and patient care.

  • Current CPR certification for designated assigned areas.

  • Knowledge of the health care environment, health care reform, and care delivery systems as they apply to Imaging.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to prioritize, think critically, and work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

  • Commitment to confidentiality, collaboration, and team-based leadership.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn additional software as needed.
