Position Summary:

The IAM Manager is responsible for safeguarding organizational data and systems by leading the strategy, implementation, and operation of identity and access management (IAM) capabilities. This role ensures that only authorized individuals have appropriate access to corporate systems through effective identity lifecycle management, including onboarding, offboarding, and role changes.

The role is accountable for maintaining and supporting core IAM platforms, including CyberArk (PAM/VPAM), Saviynt, SailPoint, and Active Directory/Azure Entra ID, ensuring continuity of privileged access management, identity lifecycle processes (joiner, mover, leaver), compliance requirements, and overall operational stability.

The IAM Manager leads a team responsible for identity provisioning, access controls, authentication mechanisms, and single sign-on (SSO) solutions, while ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to align IAM initiatives with business objectives and supports key transformation initiatives across the organization.

Acting as a bridge between technical and business stakeholders, the IAM Manager provides guidance on IAM practices, promotes security awareness, and drives continuous improvement in IAM processes, technologies, and controls. The role also oversees vendor relationships, monitors system performance, and ensures a resilient and scalable IAM framework capable of adapting to evolving cybersecurity threats. Hours of work are Monday to Friday - 7.5 hours daily or as required. After hours support may be required.

  • Leads a team of IAM specialists in designing, implementing, and maintaining identity provisioning, access controls, authentication mechanisms, and single sign-on (SSO) solutions Collaborates with cross-functional teams to assess IAM requirements, identify access needs, and implement solutions that align with business objectives while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and security standards.
  • Oversees the configuration and administration of IAM technologies and tools, ensuring they are effectively integrated with existing systems and applications Conducts regular audits and assessments of IAM processes and controls to identify gaps, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions as necessary Identifies and recommends training programs to educate employees on IAM best practices, security protocols, and compliance requirements, fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on IAM-related matters, providing guidance and support to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, and executive leadership.
  • Manages vendor relationships for IAM solutions, evaluating vendor capabilities and ensuring service levels meet organizational requirements.
  • Leads incident response efforts for IAM-related incidents, conducting investigations, implementing .
  • Remediation measures, and providing timely reports to executive leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  • Stays abreast of emerging IAM technologies, industry trends, and cybersecurity threats, evaluating their potential impact on the organization and making recommendations for proactive measures to enhance IAM capabilities Collaborates with legal and HR teams to ensure IAM practices align with regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and industry standards, facilitating audits and assessments as needed.
  • Drives continuous improvement in IAM processes, technologies, and controls through proactive problem-solving, innovation, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or industry experience is preferred.
  • Advanced degree or relevant certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), or CIAM (Certified Identity and Access Manager) are highly desirable
  • Proven track record of 5+ years in identity and access management (IAM) functions and/or roles, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Hands-on experience with IAM technologies, including identity provisioning, access control, authentication, and single sign-on (SSO) solutions In-depth understanding of IAM principles, frameworks, and best practices, with the ability to design, implement, and maintain IAM solutions tailored to organizational needs
  • Comprehensive knowledge of applicable data protection laws, regulatory requirements, and industry standards related to identity and access management, ensuring compliance within IAM initiatives Experience in assessing and mitigating risks related to identity and access management, implementing strategies to safeguard sensitive data and systems from unauthorized access
  • Ability to evaluate, select, and manage vendors and service providers for IAM solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational requirements and standards
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead and mentor IAM teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture focused on delivering effective identity and access management solutions
