Join Our Leadership Team as Human Resources Manager– Coachella Valley

$10,000 sign-on bonus OR relocation offered

 

Acadia Healthcare is seeking a strategic and people-focused Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations at our Coachella Valley facility. This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving a strong culture of engagement, accountability, and excellence across the organization.

 

As a trusted advisor to facility leadership, the HR Director will partner closely with operational leaders to align human capital strategies with business objectives. You will play a key role in shaping the employee experience—from talent acquisition and retention to employee relations, compliance, and organizational development—ensuring we continue to provide exceptional care through our most valuable asset: our people.

Salary: $95,000 - 130,000

 

PURPOSE STATEMENT: 

​Responsible for all phases of human resources within a facility to include recruiting and selection, onboarding, new hire orientation and payroll processing.  Responsible for compensation, employee relations and worker’s compensation.   

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  • ​Manage the day to day HR functions for the facility. 
  • ​Interpret HR policies for staff and respond to staff at all levels of the organization.  
  • ​Translate complex information and provide highly specialized advice in a specific Human Resources discipline. 
  • ​Serve as known expert in subject matter with a broad knowledge and understanding of HR functional areas. 
  • ​Manage and implement corporate and local Human Resources programs to fulfill state and federal policies and regulations.  
  • ​Identify data needed for reports and ensure reports accurately capture and present information appropriate to the audience.  
  • ​Communicate information to all levels of the facility, including leadership, staff and other community members.  
  • ​Responsible for leading, motivating and assessing diverse teams, including experienced and junior professionals.  
  • ​May lead projects that impact the facility at the request of leadership or corporate Human Resources. 
  • ​Responsible for compensation, employee relations and worker’s compensation.   
  • ​Provide staff management to include hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation. 

OTHER FUNCTIONS:  

  • ​Perform other functions and tasks as assigned. 
Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • ​Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business or related field required.  
  • ​One to three years’ previous experience in a Human Resources leadership role with demonstrable knowledge of principles and procedures for recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation and human resources information systems required. 

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:  

  • ​Professional certification in Human Resources preferred.
