Manager - Human ResourcesPosition SummaryWe have an opportunity for a Manager - Human Resources to join our team and support the Biologics business at our Madison, WI site. In this role, you will lead the development, implementation, and coordination of all Human Resources services, including policies, employee relations, performance management, training, compensation, benefits, payroll, compliance, and staffing. You will act as a strategic partner to site leadership, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a positive, productive work environment. Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm

The Role- Ensure alignment of policies, procedures, plans, programs, and budgets in staffing, employee relations, compensation, benefits, training, organizational development, and compliance for Madison.
- Partner with site leadership in strategic planning, providing insight on HR concerns and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Provide counsel to managers and employees on HR issues, organizational structure, and development.
- Establish and maintain an effective HR business partnership with site leaders and HR Business Partners.
- Implement and administer performance management processes to improve productivity.
- Develop training and development initiatives to meet regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with Corporate Compensation to implement and administer reward systems.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Facilitate leadership development initiatives, including talent reviews and succession planning.
- Manage onboarding and exit processes.
- Lead and coordinate responsibilities and workload for HR staff.
- Guide team members to improve performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Coach and support direct reports in developing skills and career growth.
- Perform other assigned duties.
The CandidateMinimum Requirements- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
- Minimum of five years, ideally seven or more years, of broad and progressive experience in human resources.
- Strong knowledge of HR management concepts and labor laws with a consultative, results-oriented approach.
- Superior customer service orientation with strong follow-up skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with coworkers at all levels.
- Good judgment, ethics, professional presence, and strong business acumen.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar principles or techniques quickly with minimal training.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other office systems.
- Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalent-sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD Now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience.
- Individual must be able to see, hear, read, and write clear English. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reading of written documents, and use of computer monitor screen, reaching with hands and arms, talking, writing, listening. Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, carrying, grasping. Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Must comply with EHS responsibilities.
Preferred Skills & Background- PHR or SPHR certification.
- Previous people-management experience.
- Exposure to manufacturing within pharmaceutical or related technical industries.
- Experience with Workday Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
