Job Title: Manager, Hedge Fund Accounting
Locations: New York City (hybrid), Union, NJ (hybrid), or Boston, MA (hybrid)

How You Will Make an Impact
Lead and coordinate the day-to-day work plan for the U.S. Client Service Fund Accounting team, managing workflow, priorities, and deliverables.
Provide coaching, mentorship, training, and performance leadership to accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
Review and approve fund accounting deliverables, including P&L reporting, NAV calculations, pricing, and economic allocations.
Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, partner capital statements, and other required client reporting.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
Develop and execute plans for new client onboardings, fund launches, reorganizations, and platform conversions.
Resolve complex fund accounting and operational issues escalated by the team.
Provide technical accounting guidance and industry expertise to both clients and internal stakeholders.
Coordinate and manage the external audit process, working closely with auditors and clients to ensure timely completion.
Partner with internal teams on strategic initiatives, including new product development, process improvements, system enhancements, testing, and implementations.
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
6+ years of fund accounting experience with a hedge fund administrator
3+ years of leadership or people management experience
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and hedge fund accounting principles
Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements, audit support, and investor allocations
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with a broad range of financial instruments, including equities, fixed income, repurchase agreements, futures, foreign exchange, mortgages, or options
Solid understanding of corporate actions and their accounting impact
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships

Actual base salary will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, prior experience, education, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
New Jersey: The expected base salary for the position is between 78000 USD to 165000 USD. New York: The expected base salary for the position is between 78000 USD to 165000 USD. Massachusetts: The expected base salary for the position is between 115000 USD to 165000 USD.
In addition, employees in this role may be eligible for consideration on an annual basis for a discretionary bonus and/or equity awards, such as restricted stock units or stock options, based upon individual and business performance at the company27s discretion.
