Partner with the bestAs a Growth Marketing Manager, you will lead marketing strategy and program execution across the US and Canada Public Sector. You will bridge local Public Sector sales leadership with global marketing teams to build brand awareness, drive net-new pipeline, and accelerate revenue growth through both direct sales initiatives and strategic indirect partner channels.
As a Growth Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Aligning with sales leadership to develop and execute marketing strategies across target public sector audiences
- Designing and executing multi-channel demand generation programs that generate qualified leads and sales pipeline
- Collaborating with direct sales teams and channel partners to develop and execute joint marketing programs
- Connecting regional sales needs with global marketing and product teams to drive alignment and execution
- Partnering with sales teams to improve lead conversion, funnel velocity, and pipeline performance
- Monitoring pipeline metrics, campaign performance, and ROI to optimize marketing investments
- Managing marketing budgets and allocating resources toward high-impact programs and initiatives
Do what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:
- Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
- Have proven experience building and executing B2B demand generation campaigns within the technology industry
- Have familiarity with government procurement cycles, public sector purchasing dynamics, and key government initiatives
- Have experience supporting both direct sales organizations and channel partner networks
- Have a track record of driving alignment across matrixed sales, marketing, and cross-functional teams
- Have a data-informed mindset with experience using marketing data and CRM tools to measure business impact

CompensationAkamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $108,600 - $195,400/year; a candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
