Contract Manager to provide legal and commercial contract support to our Global Manufacturing & Supply (GMS) organization. This role is ideal for a skilled contracts professional who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and enjoys partnering closely with business stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives while managing risk.
Reporting to the
Deputy Chief Counsel, GMS, Indirect Procurement & Canada, you will serve as a trusted advisor to cross-functional teams, supporting a broad range of commercial transactions and operational matters. The successful candidate will play a key role in negotiating agreements, strengthening contract management processes, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as a strategic advisor to assigned GMS teams on commercial, contractual, and operational matters.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements, including: Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) Supply and Vendor Agreements Equipment Purchase Agreements Other commercial and procurement-related contracts
- Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate legal, contractual, and business risks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including anti-bribery, privacy (GDPR, CCPA), trade compliance, and other relevant requirements.
- Support the development and implementation of contract templates, playbooks, policies, and contract management best practices.
- Provide day-to-day contract support across multiple business functions and projects.
- Maintain contract records and databases, monitor key obligations and renewal timelines, and provide reporting and dashboards to leadership.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives that drive operational efficiency and contract governance.
Qualifications:Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Law, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in contract management, commercial contracting, procurement support, legal operations, or a related field.
- Experience supporting complex commercial agreements within a corporate environment required.
- Juris Doctor (JD) is a strong plus.
- Experience within the pharmaceutical, life sciences, manufacturing, or other large multinational organizations is preferred.
Skills & Competencies:- Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and contract lifecycle management experience.
- Solid business acumen with the ability to balance legal and commercial considerations.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem solving.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and organizational levels.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic, global environment with multiple stakeholders.
Work Environment:- Hybrid work arrangement with approximately 50% onsite presence at the Parsippany, NJ headquarters (2-3 days per week).
- Collaboration with global teams across multiple time zones.
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000 to $150,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the base pay target range for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This position is also eligible for short-term incentive compensation.
This position is also eligible for long-term incentives.
