Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Manager, Global Events to join our growing Global Events team, based in North America. This role will play a key part in delivering our global events strategy, with a particular focus on major industry trade shows and conferences across North America. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing complex, high-profile events such as Black Hat, RSA Conference (RSAC), AWS re, NVIDIA GTC, or similar large-scale events. Alongside major trade shows, you will support and lead a portfolio of Tier 1 internal and external events, working closely with marketing, sales, leadership, partners, customers, and external agencies to deliver impactful experiences that support business objectives.  This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and suppliers, and understands how to turn an event strategy into an exceptional on-the-ground

experience.

Location: This is a hybrid role that will be located in our Las Colinas, Texas office located at 225 E John W Carpenter Fwy #1500, Irving, TX 75062. We are also open to candidates in the Austin, TX area.


Key Responsibilities:

Major Trade Shows & Conferences
  • Lead the planning and execution of major industry trade shows and conferences across North America.

  • Manage end-to-end event delivery, from initial planning and budgeting through to execution, measurement, and post-event analysis.

  • Coordinate all key event components including booth/stand builds, sponsorships, speaking opportunities, meeting programmes, customer experiences, hospitality, branding, signage, technology, staffing, and logistics.

  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure events generate meaningful engagement, pipeline, customer relationships, and brand awareness.

  • Manage relationships with event organisers, venues, production companies, agencies, suppliers, and strategic partners.

  • Oversee event budgets, contracts, timelines, purchase orders, and supplier deliverables.

  • Ensure a consistent and high-quality brand experience across all major events.

  • Identify opportunities to maximise event investment through sponsorships, partnerships, content, meetings, customer programmes, and experiential activations.

Tier 1 Internal & External Events
  • Support the planning and delivery of Tier 1 internal and external events, including executive events, customer events, partner programmes, leadership meetings, employee experiences, and strategic corporate events.

  • Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to define event objectives, audiences, messaging, and success measures.

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, run-of-show documents, budgets, and operational checklists.

  • Coordinate executive and VIP participation, ensuring a seamless experience before, during, and after each event.

  • Support event strategy across the wider global events calendar, helping ensure consistency, prioritisation, and effective use of resources.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Communications, Product Marketing, Customer Success, technical, channel, analyst relations and our leadership team.

  • Act as the primary events point of contact for assigned programmes and stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure North American events align with the broader global events strategy.

  • Share best practices, learnings, and insights across the global events organisation.

Measurement & Optimisation
  • Establish and track event KPIs, including attendance, engagement, meetings, pipeline influence, customer participation, and ROI.

  • Produce post-event reporting and recommendations to improve future programmes.

  • Use data and stakeholder feedback to continually optimise event strategy, investment, and execution.

  • Maintain accurate event documentation and reporting across the global events portfolio.

What We're Looking For:
  • 3–5 years of professional events experience, ideally within a technology, cybersecurity, SaaS, cloud, or B2B environment.

  • Proven experience managing large-scale trade shows and industry conferences, such as Black Hat, RSA Conference, AWS re, or comparable events.

  • Strong end-to-end event management experience, from strategy and planning through to execution and post-event analysis.

  • Experience managing event budgets, vendors, agencies, contracts, timelines, and multiple workstreams simultaneously.

  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Comfortable working with senior executives, customers, partners, and cross-functional leadership.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, global environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.

  • Commercially minded, with an understanding of how events contribute to brand, customer engagement, sales, and pipeline objectives.

  • Willingness to travel extensively across North America and internationally when required.

You are confident managing complex programmes with multiple stakeholders, are calm under pressure, and have a strong eye for detail. You are equally comfortable developing an event plan in advance of a programme and solving an unexpected issue on the show floor.
