Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • Manage client expectations and delivery of services to corporate clients with international assignees, international local hires, and cross-border employees
  • Assist with internal risk management procedures including engagement letters and agreement processes with KPMG member firms
  • Coordinate and conduct periodic client meetings
  • Develop and deliver approved presentations within KPMG and to select outside organizations
  • Perform analysis of global tax calculations related to corporate payroll reporting and withholding on incentive compensation for international and cross-border employees
  • Help with development and teaching of equity-based compensation courses for International Executive Services (IES) professionals


Qualifications:
  • Minimum five years of recent experience in expatriate tax, employer benefit strategies, or incentive compliance experience; preferred experience in at least three of following areas: total rewards and benefits, global compensation and equity sourcing and taxation, domestic and global employment tax compliance and consulting, mergers and acquisitions advisory, executive compensation and compensation integration, mobility tax compliance and consulting; corporate taxation; ASC 718, ASC 740, share-based compensation delivery and data and analytics
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in accounting, finance, business, economics, mathematics, computer science or a related field required
  • Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Juris Doctor (JD)/ Master of Laws (LLM), Certified Equity Professional (CEP) or Enrolled Agent, in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing; any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences, has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials; should you like to see the complete list of currently approved designations/credentials for the hiring practice/service line, your recruiter can provide you with that list
  • Prior experience within public accounting advising clients on global incentive compensation issues
  • Extensive experience in equity-based awards and incentive compensation administration, including tax technical and corporate compliance experience
