Full Job Description
Mandarin Oriental is looking for a Regional Manager, Sales, Entertainment & Sports to join our New York Sales Office team.

About the job

Based in the New York Corporate Office and reporting to the Head of Global Entertainment, Media & Sport, the Account Manager, Global Entertainment, Media & Sport is responsible for managing and developing relationships with key global accounts within the Entertainment, Media & Sport industry vertical. The role plays a key part in driving revenue growth, strengthening strategic partnerships and supporting Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group's commercial objectives on a global scale.

The Regional Manager, Sales, Entertainment & Sports, will work closely with hotels, regional sales teams and global stakeholders to execute strategic account plans, maximise account penetration and drive business opportunities across the portfolio.

As Regional Manager, Sales, Entertainment & Sports, you will be responsible for the following duties:

Account Management
  • Managing a portfolio of key global Entertainment, Media & Sport accounts.
  • Developing and executing strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Identifying opportunities to strengthen account penetration and expand partnership opportunities.
  • Supporting the development of business reviews and industry insights for hotels and senior leadership.

Sales and Business Development
  • Developing new business opportunities across the Entertainment, Media & Sport sector.
  • Delivering compelling sales presentations and commercial proposals.
  • Participating in industry events, tradeshows, conferences and networking activities.
  • Initiating and hosting educational visits and client engagement activities.
  • Maintaining accurate account information and activity records within company sales systems.

Relationship Management
  • Acting as a key point of contact for assigned accounts.
  • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and responsiveness.
  • Managing customer enquiries, concerns and escalations professionally and effectively.
  • Building long-term partnerships that support sustainable business growth.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Supporting pre-opening hotels through account identification and commercial engagement strategies.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to maximise revenue opportunities across the portfolio.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned to support operational and business requirements.
