Join Baker Tilly’s Managed Services Advisory team and help clients transform how their finance and accounting functions operate.We partner with leaders to design modern operating models, streamline processes, and implement technology-enabled solutions that drive efficiency, strengthen controls, and elevate business insights.

As aManager,youwork withBaker Tilly’scross-functional teams(Go-to-Market, Technology, Transition, and Operation)to solve complex operational challenges from strategy through execution. You will guide clients through assessments,design,transitions, and steadystate operations while delivering best-in-class service and financialexpertise.

In this role,youact as a strategic advisor, using your knowledge of industry trends and operational best practices toprovideactionable insights and help clients build scalable, high-performing finance organizations. Responsibilities:

  • Design and implementendstateGlobal Business Services (GBS)multi-functionaloperating models, including process architecture, governance, service catalogs, organizational structures, and global delivery models (captive, outsourcedandhybrid).

  • Assess organizational and process maturity,and develop transformation roadmaps aligned to enterprise strategy, value levers, and business outcomes.

  • Leadlargescale,multiprocesstransformation programs, integrating automation, analytics, AI, RPA, and intelligent workflowplatforms todrive efficiency, scalability, and service excellence.

  • Establish enterprise service management and performance frameworks, including SLAs/OLAs, KPI hierarchies, dashboards, financial and operational reporting, and continuous improvement mechanisms.

  • Drive transitions, migrations, and operational readiness across global delivery networks, including change management, knowledge transfer, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment.

  • Partner with technology and digital teams to embed data platforms, intelligent automation, and advanced analytics into core GBS and finance operations.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on complex finance and operational transformation engagements, including outsourced CFO/Controllership,RecordtoReport,ProcuretoPay,OrdertoCash, FP&A, and Financial Reporting.

  • Design and deliverfuturestatefinance processes and data models, including financial consolidation, close acceleration, chart of accounts design, planning/budgeting/forecasting, and enterprise financial intelligence(e.g.AI).

  • Lead client engagements, from executive workshops and assessments through proposal development, transition, execution, and steadystate operations.

  • Direct and developcrossfunctionalconsulting teams, managingdaytodaydelivery, quality, timelines, and client satisfaction across global stakeholders.

  • A key leader inpractice growth andgotomarketefforts, including managed services pursuits, thought leadership, reusable assets,sectorspecificofferings, and representation at executive forums and industry events.

  • Develop scalable dashboards, data models, and reporting solutions using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Alteryx to support operational, financial, and strategic insights.

  • Mentor and develop junior andmidlevelteam members, fostering a collaborative,highperformanceculture across global teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS, or related field (Master’spreferred); CPA, CFA, PMP, or equivalent certifications strongly preferred.

  • Strong consulting and delivery experience leading complex,multistakeholdertransformations across captive and outsourced environments.

  • Five (5)years of progressive experience in finance transformation, GBS, or management consulting withdemonstratedleadership in operating model and process transformation.

  • Provenexpertiseadvisingglobal organizations on GBS, shared services, outsourcing, and target operating model design, including BPO selection, contracting, transition, and performance management.

  • Deep knowledge &demonstrateddesign through execution and process improvement & standardizationRecordtoReport,ProcuretoPay,OrdertoCash, FP&A, and Financial Reporting.

  • Knowledge of Finance systems tools that includes ERP's,AIand FP&A tools

  • Experience working with Private Equity companies and their portfolio companies is plus

  • Expertlevelproficiencyin Power BI; strong working knowledge of Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, and similar analytics tools.

  • Detailedproject and program management capabilities, including planning, risk management, executive reporting, and governance.

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to translate complex operational and financial concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leaders.

  • Proven ability to build and sustain senior client relationships, support sales and proposal efforts, and influence strategicdecisionmaking.


The pay rate range for this job position is $59,400 to $236,800. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant’s skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees.
