Company Description

The Gaming Manager for the US West region will be responsible for developing, managing, owning, and facilitating the execution of gaming-focused marketing initiatives throughout the West region. This position requires a keen marketing acumen, strong project management abilities, and an in-depth understanding of the gaming ecosystem. By working collaboratively across teams, engaging with events, players, and the local community, the Gaming Manager will enhance local and regional brand relevance, aligning with Red Bull's global and national strategies to increase product engagement among gamers.

Job Description

PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

Work closely with the National Gaming team, Regional Marketing teams, and the Senior Gaming Manager to design and implement activation programs focused on Red Bull Gamer. Utilize key gaming titles, partnerships, major events, and local opportunities to enhance brand relevance within the gaming community.

Identify, participate in, and support key partner events, collaborating with regional marketing teams to oversee the planning and execution of Red Bull's gaming activations on-site. Ensure brand integration is deliberate, effective, and consistent with both regional strategy and partner goals.

Develop innovative, unique, and regionally relevant gaming concepts that align with global strategy and inspire the local community. Prepare annual business plan proposals demonstrating how these activations enhance engagement, brand relevance, and promote long-term growth.

Collaborate with the Player Marketing Manager to discover talent, support player activations, incorporate players into owned projects, and feature gaming talent at Red Bull events.

Monitor emerging trends, industry leaders, and opportunities where Red Bull can make a significant impact in this rapidly evolving landscape.

EVENT MARKETING

Lead gaming activations for properties owned by Red Bull, as well as partner events, overseeing all aspects from initial concept to completion. This includes tasks such as scoping, creating timelines, budgeting, coordinating with vendors, and collaborating across various functions.

Take responsibility for and maintain all project documentation, which encompasses workbooks, organizational charts, detailed RACI matrices, and post-event reports.

Develop comprehensive marketing strategies for events to maximize brand visibility and impact among target audiences. Work closely with the Marketing and Media Network team to ensure that event messaging aligns with brand objectives and effectively connects with the audience.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

Stay informed about the latest developments in the local gaming scene, including new and popular games, platform trends, lifestyle habits, and other relevant information.

Develop and nurture relationships with local gaming leaders, influencers, and content creators.

Work closely with local marketing teams to ensure Red Bull has an authentic presence in local gaming venues such as arcades and LAN centers, where the brand can effectively engage with and support the gaming community.

Act as an internal gaming consultant and collaborate with the Field Marketing Team to engage key local communities and opportunities, ensuring Red Bull Energy Drink fuels local gamers.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in gaming and esports management and marketing.

In-depth knowledge of the gaming landscape, including major game titles, publishers/developers, players, teams, league and tournament structures.

Awareness of existing and developing trends within the gaming and esports sectors.

Innovative thinker with a proven track record of designing, communicating, and launching engaging gaming products and marketing initiatives.

Proficient in program/project management, capable of driving planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and status reporting.

Excellent presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate ideas and information to both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Proficient in computer applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Additional Information

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.

The base salary range for this position is $85,600 - $128,400 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
