Role Overview:

PlayStation Studios Finance team is seeking a Manager, FP&A, Creative and Services to join the team. This role will be a key finance partner to Creative Arts, Localisation, and Co-Development studios teams, with direct ownership of financial planning, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, and business support for Sound and Music teams within Creative Arts. The role will manage two analysts who support broader Creative Arts, Localisation, and Co-Development studios finance activities. The Manager will help business partners understand financial insights, identify risks and opportunities, support cost optimisation, and drive informed decision-making.

The ideal candidate is a strong business partner and people leader with excellent analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly. You are comfortable building financial models, driving process improvement, supporting business cases, and developing a high-performing team.

This role, hybrid or remote, will preferably be based in Canada or the UK, and will report to the 'Sr. Manager, FP&A - Tech, Creative, and Services' who is based out of San Mateo, CA US.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for Sound and Music teams within Creative Arts, while overseeing finance support for broader Creative Arts, Localisation, and Co-Development studio teams.
  • Partner with business leaders and budget owners to identify risks and opportunities, evaluate trade-offs, and influence business outcomes.
  • Drive executive-level reporting and presentation materials that clearly explain financial performance, variance drivers, and recommended actions.
  • Support cost optimisation efforts by identifying opportunities for efficiency, improved planning discipline, and better resource allocation.
  • Own cost allocation methodology, rate-setting, and related processes to ensure Creative and Services team costs are accurately planned, tracked, and allocated to game titles and organisational initiatives.
  • Build ad hoc financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses to support decision-making.
  • Drive standardisation, automation, and process improvements across planning, reporting, and forecasting activities to strengthen financial visibility and improve team efficiency.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals.
