Job Description Summary:

Role Summary:
As a Manager, Fluidics Engineer, you will provide hands-on engineering support to advance Coca-Cola's innovative fluidic technologies across our Global Equipment Platforms (GEP). Under the guidance of the Fluidics Engineering Lead, you will focus on component development, testing, and documentation to enable scalable solutions for valves, pumps, and dosing systems.

This role is ideal for an individual eager to develop their expertise in fluid dynamics and system performance while contributing to Coca-Cola's mission of delivering sustainable, reliable, and cutting-edge beverage dispensing technologies. Success in this position is measured through accurate technical execution, timely delivery of project milestones, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
Support Core Technology Development (40%)
• Component Prototyping: Assist in the assembly and testing of fluidic components, such as valves, pumps, and dosing systems, under the direction of senior engineers.
• Proof-of-Concept Support: Collaborate on the development and validation of early-stage fluidic component concepts for scalable implementation.
• Testing & Validation: Execute technical evaluations, including performance and reliability testing, to ensure components meet engineering benchmarks.

Contribute to Core Engineering Activities (40%)
• Engineering Standards Support: Apply established system guidelines to component designs to ensure consistency with best practices.
• Documentation Management: Support the preparation and maintenance of engineering documentation, such as CAD drawings, testing procedures, and specification reports.
• Technology Transfer Assistance: Aid in the transfer of validated technologies to internal teams and contract manufacturers, ensuring smooth scalability and implementation.
• Shared Knowledge Contribution: Maintain accurate records for component libraries, centralizing resources to accelerate cross-platform adoption. Component Performance and Maintenance Assistance (20%)
• System Troubleshooting: Collaborate with field teams to identify and troubleshoot issues with fluidic components, providing support for retrofittable solutions.
• Cost & Quality Optimization: Assist in design adjustments to improve component cost efficiency and reliability without compromising quality.
• Sustainability Support: Participate in developing upgrades for fluidic systems that contribute to Coca-Cola's commitment to enhancing energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
• Lifecycle Assessment: Conduct basic evaluations to identify aging or obsolete
components, recommending updates to maintain fleet performance.

Key Deliverables:
• Validated Component Contributions: Support the design, testing, and final approval process for key fluidic system innovations.
• Accurate Documentation: Maintain up-to-date CAD models, test results, and process documentation as deliverables for internal stakeholders.
• Actionable Data Insights: Compile performance data from testing and fleet evaluations to identify opportunities for system improvements.
• Retrofit Support Plans: Provide technical support for retrofitted solutions to extend the lifecycle of existing equipment.

Skills & Competence
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Fluid Dynamics, or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in fluidics, mechanical systems, or product engineering roles.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and expertise in fluidic system testing and design.
• Experience in reliability testing and data interpretation for mechanical or fluidic systems.
• Ability to create and maintain organized engineering documentation and reports.
• Effective collaboration skills with internal teams, suppliers, and cross-functional groups.

Preferred:
• Prior experience working with fluidics systems in regulated industries (e.g., food and beverage).
