This is an exciting opportunity for a senior leader to shape the future of our fleet maintenance operations, maximize vehicle availability, and deliver cost-effective, high-quality repair solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive the strategic and operational performance of fleet maintenance across all workshop networks and repair facilities.
- Optimize end-to-end repair processes to ensure maximum vehicle availability and cost efficiency.
- Lead and inspire large teams and manage key external partners, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance analytics to ensure operational targets are met or exceeded.
- Deliver and champion continuous improvement initiatives to reduce vehicle downtime, control buy-back and reconditioning costs, and enhance overall operational outcomes.
- Ensure all maintenance, recovery, and repair activities comply with safety, regulatory, and company standards.
- Collaborate with senior management to align maintenance strategies with broader business goals.
- Report on operational KPIs, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.
What We're Looking For:- Proven experience in fleet maintenance management, with a b track record of leading large teams or multiple sub-functions.
- Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives and deliver measurable improvements in operational performance.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and performance analytics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with both internal teams and external partners to achieve shared objectives.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices in fleet maintenance and repairs.
Ideal Experience- Significant experience in a senior maintenance, recoveries, or repairs leadership role within a fleet, automotive, or related industry.
- Experience managing workshop networks and end-to-end repair processes.
- Background in driving cost efficiency, reducing downtime, and enhancing vehicle availability.
- History of successful team leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
- Familiarity with buy-back, reconditioning, and fleet recovery operations is highly desirable.
