Overview

KPMG's Financial Services Advisory Practice helps organizations develop efficient and effective operations to support strategic business objectives. We are seeking a Manager to strengthen our Wealth and Asset Management practice in the Toronto office.

As a Manager in our Financial Services, Wealth and Asset Management practice, you will support the planning and management of client engagements, lead key workstreams, contribute to the day-to-day execution of services, and support business development activities.

What you will do

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of client engagements, helping ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of quality work in line with client expectations.
  • Leading key workstreams within transformation projects across front, middle and back-office functions for Wealth and Asset Management clients.
  • Applying knowledge of Financial Services and Wealth and Asset Management business activities to deliver practical solutions for clients.
  • Building trusted client relationships and supporting engagement teams through day-to-day guidance, coordination and quality delivery.
  • Identifying opportunities to add value for clients and supporting the development of proposals, presentations and other business development materials.
  • Developing as a trusted advisor within Financial Services, with a focus on Wealth and Asset Management and related sectors.
  • Using strong communication and influencing skills to work effectively with clients, peers and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrating an understanding of the relationships between people, organization, business processes and enabling technologies as contributors to business effectiveness.
  • Growing your coaching and feedback skills by providing day-to-day guidance and mentoring to team members and supporting our Open Feedback culture.
  • Supporting practice development initiatives and helping unlock value for Wealth and Asset Management clients.
  • Contributing to thought leadership and points of view on key developments in the Wealth and Asset Management industry.

What you bring to the role

  • 7 years of combined industry and consulting experience within Financial Services, ideally with exposure to the Wealth and Asset Management space.
  • Experience supporting operations transformation initiatives within Financial Services, with an interest in Wealth and Asset Management.
  • University degree in business, management, operations, or MBA or equivalent from an accredited university.
  • Comfortable working at both the conceptual and hands-on level, with strong problem-solving skills and a growth-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective client relationships and work collaboratively with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting business development, practice development and project delivery activities.

KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information

The expected base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $140,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant's base salary within this range is based on the individual's location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
