About you

The Manager, Financial Analytics serves as a strategic financial leader supporting multi-market occupier and leasing clients through the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of sophisticated financial analytics and modeling solutions. Operating within a national platform, this role’s deep financial expertise provides actionable financial insights tailored to each client's objectives, enabling occupiers to make informed real estate decisions and help landlords evaluate the financial impact of various leasing and asset management strategies.

Balancing hands-on execution of complex financial analyses with oversight and development of financial resources across markets, the Manager, Financial Analytics role partners closely with brokers, account leadership, transaction teams, landlords, and corporate occupiers to develop comprehensive financial models that quantify the financial implications of real estate decisions and leasing strategies.

The role leads the development of sophisticated financial models that evaluate leasehold interests across multiple asset types using pre-tax and after-tax cash flow projections, Net Present Value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR), occupancy cost analyses, and U.S. GAAP accounting impacts. These analyses support critical business decisions, including site selection, lease renewals, acquisitions, dispositions, capital investments, and portfolio optimization.

In this role, you will…

  • Serve as the financial analytics leader for multi-market occupier and broker client engagements.

  • Participating in onboarding and transition initiatives for leasing and/or multi-market client accounts.

  • Designing and developing customized financial models aligned with client decision-making processes, KPIs, and reporting requirements.

  • Translating client business objectives into scalable financial analytics solutions.

  • Establishing standardized methodologies while accommodating unique client requirements.

  • Collaborating with account leadership and transaction teams to ensure seamless implementation of financial frameworks.

  • Building and maintaining complex, dynamic financial models evaluating real estate alternatives.

  • Analyzing occupancy costs, lease structures, cash flows, and capital expenditures to support transaction recommendations.

  • Performing cash versus GAAP analyses and evaluating financial implications of alternative transaction structures.

  • Continuously refining and enhancing modeling methodologies and analytical tools.

  • Leading financial analysis for tenant representation and occupier transactions

  • Delivering actionable insights that support occupancy strategy, portfolio optimization, and business decision-making.

  • Owning the development, governance, and evolution of financial modeling tools and frameworks.

  • Supporting implementation of technology solutions that advance analytical capabilities and reporting effectiveness.

What success looks like

  • Bachelor's degree required; concentration in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, or related field. MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.

  • 8–12 years of progressively responsible experience in financial analysis, real estate finance, occupier services, or related fields.

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex real estate transaction financial analyses for occupiers and tenants.

  • Experience working closely with tenant representation brokerage teams preferred.

  • Prior experience managing, mentoring, or developing financial professionals preferred.

  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including development of sophisticated and dynamic financial models.

  • Strong understanding of cash flow analysis, lease analysis, occupancy cost analysis, and real estate financial structures.

  • Experience with cash versus GAAP accounting analyses.

  • Familiarity with ProCalc or similar real estate financial analysis platforms preferred.

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Proven ability to operate effectively as a player-coach, balancing individual contribution with team leadership.

  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with executive-level communication capability.
